ARCHITECTURE FOR BLANK SPACE ~ That margin breathes the landscape~

This project was developed by TATSUAKI KOMURO as a student from Tokyo University of Science and was submited to the WAS awards 2017 under the Residential category.

I have a history of born in Taiwan, and I annually go back to Taiwan to meet my grandmother.
My second home, Taiwan’ s traditional sceneries are currently being broken down by accelerating development.
My grandmother’ s house is in the area of development as well and therefore I questioned myself “Is there a way to prevent the development and protect the city?” In order to solve the problem, an architecture that inspires and activates the town as a happy and safe area to live so that new people would come and live in the area, need to be designed.
