The project is an observatory of nature located in the Natural Park of the Alcornocales in Cádiz. The observatory is located along a stretch of the River of Honey, creating a tour at different altitudes with pile-dwelling structures that allow to create a horizontal plane in a very complex orography.
I have divided the program of this observatory into two roads, differentiating work areas from living areas. The project is conceived as the image of an eight generating two roads, that intersect in three points of the roads. The intersections are significant areas of the river such as waterfalls or lakes, these elements are a very important part of my Project. since the intersections between the roads of stays and work are produced in these places, also connecting in these areas with the outside turning the building itself into a bridge and viewpoint at the same time.
The Superposition of two roads distinguish the areas of stay and the areas of work. At the intersections we have the best views of the characteristic natural elements of the area. The form of the roads are based on the existence of trees, wanting to preserve all the trees of the place.
A fundamental part of the project is the form it has and why. The plant adapts to the pre-existing trees of the place, wanting to preserve all the trees of the place, so the pieces form angles conditioned by nature, a nature that is organic, that does not follow any law. Therefore the road, which is what is most linked to nature and this organic journey through the river or the treetops, I could not follow a geometry as strict as the geometry of the living areas or the work areas. With the exception of the road, the different rooms follow the same pattern, have the same shape, that depending on the use the piece is extended or decreased, always following a modulation.
There is a separate area for parking cars, this zone is 200 meters away from my project, where there is a clearing with a parking of a pre-existing building.
